Super easy to operate. I've learned there are 3 ways to jam the chipper. Too big of a branch (greater than 3 inches) or one that is curved. Too many bent branches down the hopper. And too much soft material, fresh trimmed branches on bushes for example, that clog the output. Be patient and let the chipper do it's work, don't overfeed.
However, if it does get jammed be ready for some work like blowing the debris out and looking for the hidden wood chip jamming the rotating blades.
I would buy again though, just need a tool to manually rotate the blades when cleaning out the jam.
