Never owned a splitter before but given I'm not a spring chicken anymore I decided to give up the maul and work smarter not harder. I looked at ALOT of splitters and ALOT of web and Youtube reviews for weeks and was convinced by Bilt Hard based on reviews and the technology. You didn't let me down. I've used the splitter twice and split over a half cord of wood and it was a breeze. I have not encounted a problem and the machine has performed flawlessly. Pretty easy to assemble. Turning ratio is very good. Heavy duty plastic cart. Perfect for my needs.

It arrived a day late, but at least it arrived. I haven't had ample time to assess it much yet. Weather has not cooperated. However I did split a couple of good size chunks to test it. I worked fine and I am looking forward to giving it a good test.
