Shipping Outside the Contiguous 48 States: We do not directly ship outside the 48 contiguous United States. However, we can work with your freight forwarder to accommodate your orders. You are responsible for paying all customs duties, taxes, and other additional fees applied upon export. The freight forwarder is responsible for inspecting the packages before accepting and delivering them. Once the packages are accepted by the freight forwarder, Bilt Hard is not responsible for any damage or loss of the packages.
We do not ship our products to P.O. boxes, military APO addresses, states and territories outside the contiguous U.S. (including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands), or countries outside of the United States.
Out-of-Stock/Back-Ordered Products Policy: If your order includes out-of-stock items, we will ship the remaining in-stock items as soon as the order is paid for. Back-ordered items will be sent to you via ground shipping at no additional charge when their stock is replenished. You can request that the order be shipped in one batch when all items are available.
Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel an order that has NOT been shipped, contact our customer service department at inquiry@bilthardusa.com. We will do our best to assist you in a timely fashion. Special order items and items marked as shipped cannot be canceled after the order is processed. Returned items are subject to restocking fees. If an order cannot be canceled, you will be able to return eligible items; shipping charges may apply.

Return Policy:
Our return policy allows you 30 days from the date of item delivery to request a return. Please note that returns are not accepted after this 30-day period.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original, unworn, and unused condition, including all items inside the box and in their original packaging. Customers are required to provide photos and videos of the products and boxes. Additionally, a receipt or proof of purchase is necessary.

Important Note:

Defective or Damaged Products:
If the product is defective or damaged, please provide photos or videos to our customer service within 10 days of receiving the goods. We will cover the return (exchange) shipping costs. Failure to do so within 10 days or a lack of response will make the buyer responsible for any loss.
Return Process:
Upon receiving returned items, we will verify the product's condition within 2-3 business days and initiate a refund within the next 3 business days. We will notify you of the refund status. Approved refunds will be automatically processed through your original payment method. Please note that the bank or credit card company may require additional time to complete the refund.
Limited Warranty:
Bilt Hard comes with a 1-year/2-year/5-year/10-year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty is only applicable to original purchasers and starts on the purchase date. It does not extend if the product is repaired or replaced.
The Warranty does not cover damage due to improper use, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized repair, external causes beyond our control, or force majeure events (e.g., fire, earthquake, lightning, water damage).

Warranty Policy
At Bilt Hard, we are committed to providing high-quality products. To ensure optimal performance, proper care and maintenance are essential. This warranty replaces any other expressed or implied warranties. Bilt Hard assumes no responsibility beyond what is outlined in this policy.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from the official Bilt Hard website (www.bilthardusa.com). Purchases from third-party platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, or eBay are not covered under this warranty.
- Consumer Use: Personal, residential household use.
- Commercial Use: Any other use, including business operations or income-generating activities. Note: If used for rental purposes, the warranty is limited to 60 days.

Terms & Conditions
- Proof of Purchase Required: The original proof of purchase must be provided to obtain warranty coverage.
- Non-Transferable: The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty also applies to gift recipients but not to subsequent owners.
- Repair or Replacement: Defective parts will be repaired or replaced at Bilt Hard’s discretion. If a part is unavailable, it may be replaced with a similar part of equal function.
- No Full Product Replacements: For certain large items (weighing over 50lbs), the warranty covers defective parts only, and does not extend to full product replacements.
- Repairs Do Not Extend Warranty: Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover the following:
🔸Normal Wear & Tear (covered only for 60 days from the original purchase date). This includes items like:
• O-rings
• Valve handle assemblies
• Elastomer spiders
• Tires
• Filter elements
🔸Improper Use or Neglect:
• Misuse, abuse, or improper installation
• Lack of maintenance
• Use of unauthorized replacement parts
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
🔸External Damage or Environmental Factors:
• Accidents, fire, flood, windstorm, or other natural disasters
• Corrosion caused by chemicals
• Rodent or insect damage
• Vandalism
🔸Cosmetic Defects: Paint, decals, or other aesthetic issues.
🔸Operational & Financial Losses:
• Downtime, inconvenience, or loss of income
• Loss of product use
• Shipping costs or incidental damages
Engine Warranty
The engine warranty is covered directly by the engine manufacturer under their terms and conditions. Bilt Hard does not cover:
- Routine maintenance (spark plugs, air filters, fuel system cleaning, adjustments, or obstructions due to buildup).
Customer Responsibilities
- Transportation Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs to and from a service center.
- Proper Use & Maintenance: Regular maintenance is required. The warranty does not cover failures due to normal wear or lack of maintenance.
- Alteration of Safety Features: Any modification or removal of safety features will void the warranty.
Order Cancellation
Buyers have a 30-minute window to cancel their order after it’s been placed. If the order has already been shipped or picked up and can no longer be canceled, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to refuse the package upon delivery.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will Bilt Hard be liable for damages exceeding the original purchase price of the product. You assume all risks related to the misuse or inability to use the product.
Additional Information
🔸For orders delivered within the contiguous United States that are later forwarded to U.S. islands or international destinations, the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs.
🔸Bilt Hard is not liable for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery. If tracking shows the package was delivered but not received, please report the issue to the shipping carrier. Our customer service team is also here to help guide you through the next steps.
🔸All warranty claims require the product to be returned to Bilt Hard’s warehouse for inspection and verification by our technical support team. Refunds, replacements, or discounts will only be issued after this evaluation.

I was reluctant to purchase this off the internet, but after a week of indecision, I bought it. I have 2.5 hilly acres in rural southern California. I usually take two full weekends and trim the grass and brush with a hand held weed whacker. I hoped this would work on the flatter, wider areas.
Package arrived in 4 days. It came fully assembled; all I had to do was adjust the handle. Came with enough oil to fill the reservoir, and the trimmer string was already installed, although it only came with the two strands. Still, after putting gas in it, the trimmer mower fired up on the 4th pull.
Worked as I hoped. I was able to do 1.5 acres with this. The other part of the yard is too hilly. I was pleasantly surprised. The trimmer mower is well built, runs well, and the self-propelled feature is a game changer for me. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
I do have some criticisms, however. First, the wheels. They are plastic and have mediocre traction on the soft patches of dirt. Second, it is only one speed for walking behind. The pace is just a little quick for me, but I adjusted to it after a few minutes and got the work done.
This is a recent purchase, so I have no idea what the company will be like if I need a warranty claim. Also, I have no idea how this machine will hold up overtime. But, like I said, it appears well built.
As of now, I would recommend it.
Arrived very quickly.... assembled in minutes..... started second pull..... noticeably more powerful than my previous 159cc so it takes on thick weed stalks with ease.....cuts at a manicured height.
Very very content with speed to get the job done, the final look of the cut and less exhaustion after each mowing session.

First thing assembly there really isn't much to it quick and easy add oil add gas prime pull brrrrrrrrr perfect! The string is ok not the best but I restringed with ugly line and wow this thing cuts almost everything, only the mesquite trees survived and they are super hard to kill like chainsaw tough. So far no complaints. Lightweight easy to use in hills and uneven terrain. The pull bar allows you to stop the cutting head without shutting off the engine, great for when you need to move something out of the way. Adjustable handle is great so it fits all users. Honestly very happy with my purchase!
Great little machine, set up was super easy. Oil was a little hard to fill , cowling gets in the way. Will use a funnel next time. Started on second pull, very easy to start. Super light and rolls very easy even on uneven ground. it was a lot more mobile than I expected. Took about 20 minutes to clear the space pictured, mostly canary grass and blackberries. Had to stop a few times to "chew" on tougher spots or large old canes that it couldn't rip through. I never had a problem with grass clogging up on the spindle, although I did cut some away just in case. most of it just flew off on it's own. total run time of about an hour and 20 minutes. Had to change the line half way through, a lot of blackberries and some hidden rocks and metal that did not help. also easy to replace. Can't wait to use it again.
I was very pleased to find That the BILT Hard trouble was everything I hope for. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver and clears tall grass with ease.
So put it together , easy to do not much to assemble .
Added the oil that came with and some fuel . Second pull and it was running .
Haven’t used it except for a quick run runs nice the speed is a bit fast and no way to turn it down though but it’s going to be a life saver for going up hill for sure.
The machine seems well constructed but it's far too heavy not to have a self-propelled drive system. I'm 63 and this manual beast is not manageable for me. I didn't realize machines of this size would be sold with manual-only drive. I wrote to Well Built asking if I could exchange it for a self-driving trencher. No reply so far.
So far, loving this trimmer. One challenge--I can't figure out how to replace the string. It WON'T COME OUT, not by pushing extended ends backwards, or pulling any direction. At this rate, all of the insert/holes will be filled with string with no way to replace them. I've requested help from company and so far, no response.

Great product
Impressive weed cutter. Seems to run well with enough power to cut through high thick weeds. I have had to adjust the belt to the cutter head, as it was beginning to slip. But otherwise it has worked out very well.
Fast delivery. Easy assembly. Easy operation. Performs the job I needed done. Hope it is durable. I do have some minor suggestions. Wrenches I have so tool kit not needed. I really needed a gooseneck funnel small and long enough. I had to adjust both cables after a tank or two of use. I would really like some more aggressive tires/wheels. String change is super easy. I really like the machine
This was definitely a time saver it has taken down some brush and weeds that has been growing all summer.
Overall a good machine. There is a question of misalignment of the digger chain and the guard. Also, tight should you adjust the digger chain? How much slack should be in the digger chain?
Otherwise, all assembly instructions were very good.
Assembly hint: Tie a small rope to the digger change and fish it around the left side of the drive sprocket. Pull the chain through and slip it over the sprocket. Install master link. It only took 5 min to assemble.
The engine is easy to start with smooth balanced operation.
Stump grinder appears to be built well. I have already removed four stumps in about one hour. Starts easily now I hope that continues.

It's definitely a heavy duty machine. My son is happy and has tackled a very overgrown yard. For a better idea of this yards condition, totally overgrown and unkept for some time. Zipped right through the overgrown yard. Starts right up and works like a dream.

I live in Oregon where everything grows fast! This cuts right through thick blackberries and tall grass. I highly recommend it.
I was a bit reluctant about this purchase as I had never heard of this company. BUT....I am totally happy!! Out of the box it was easy to put together. Filled it with the bottle of included oil put some gas in it, it fired up on the forth pull! Machine is easy to manage, very well balanced and does an outstanding job. Just what I was looking for. I would recommend this machine to anyone in the market for this type of machine!!!
