The only issue I had was measuring how much oil to put in. The amounts were in different listing's.
I saw on line how to do it. The parts in separate bags was a great idea. The directions were simple and perfect. I bought it because of the video. It was everything he said it was. First pull start.

Great performance
Bought the 18" bilt hard after TS Helene dropped trees on my property. 16 trees later and the saw has been a rockstar. Some say it's hard to start, not really, follow the steps. Some say it's loud, it is it's a chainsaw. Chain was sharp out of the box and held up well
Motor started first pull. I repowered my snapper leaf mulching mower. I fabricated a base plate so no leafs would not come out under the Motor space. Works great. I needed a new brake cable to fit the motor shut down on the new motor.

Great shelving at a good price
I first bought one shelving unit to see what I thought. I liked it, and it was straightforward to assemble. I decided to buy three shelving units to put in the loft of my garage. They were 48" wide, 24" deep, 72" high, and they looked fantastic. I then decided to put three 39" x 18" x 72" on opposite sides of the loft. I used half the height.
I added another one downstairs, then two more, and I just bought three more. These are wonderful units. Highly recommened them.

Just Plain Happy
Never owned a splitter before but given I'm not a spring chicken anymore I decided to give up the maul and work smarter not harder. I looked at ALOT of splitters and ALOT of web and Youtube reviews for weeks and was convinced by Bilt Hard based on reviews and the technology. You didn't let me down. I've used the splitter twice and split over a half cord of wood and it was a breeze. I have not encounted a problem and the machine has performed flawlessly. Bottom line, your price was the best for comparable units, your delivery was fast and as for support you answered all of a first time users questions quickly and thoroughly.
