It’s already been used. It worked really good. The only problem is it has a cord you pull to start it (I don’t have the. Strength to do it, so someone has to start it). It has a lot of power. My neighbor tried it too. He loved it. Time consuming instead of shoveling. I’m
Bought in December and just used for 1st time today 1/25/26. Machine works great but auger seemed to bind in deeper piles, anyone else have this problem? Can I adjust it? All in all pretty good machine. Would recommend
I love this little splitter. It has cracked through some twisted and knotty Red Oak with very little struggle.
The only downsides are the speed and the fact that you need to use both hands at the same time and can’t control the log.
Neither of these are deal breakers for me. Very big value for the money!
Surprisingly well made, powerful and easy to start. Lives up to the name Bilt Hard
You can buy this log splitter for less than six one-day rentals of the same size unit. FedEx delivered three boxes weighing 137, 72 and 135 pounds each. Hydraulic fluid and engine oil are included. Excellent packing, each box had plywood on all sides. Our only assembly issue was that the threads on the hydraulic reservoir were painted. We wire brushed the threads but still had a hard time getting the threads on the low pressure hose to engage. Recommend removing the low pressure hose from the control valve, then attach the other end to the reservoir. Then reconnect to the control valve. This made it much easier to start the threads over the paint.
Exceeded all expectations. This thing rocks! Split thru 14 inch Hickory logs and some Beech logs even bigger.
I manage several properties and needed a washer that could handle back-to-back jobs. This one heats water fast and maintains pressure. The build quality seems good for the price point.
Relatively easy to assemble and works great. No issue with giant 75lb logs of green, wet oak. Only complaint is that the motor is nearly impossible to mount as two of the four bolt wholes are extremely difficult to access with adult size hands. Ended up having to temporarily tape nuts to wrenches to get them placed and tightened.
This is a surprisingly heavy built, log splitter better than I thought it would be when I ordered it. We currently have it assembled, but we have not used it yet. I can’t wait to use it.
The hot water makes a big difference compared to cold washers. I used it to remove years of dirt and mildew from my siding, it worked faster than I expected. Glad I went with this model.
Item was damaged during shipment. Warranty part was sent. That came damaged as well. Make it right and send me a replacement log splitter assembled or refund me and come pick this one up. Very disappointed.
Just received put together. Needs a washer or something to stabilize the jack. Fair product for a fair price. Excellent service and communication.
Bought min 2 weeks ago eats 2 1/2 in green branches easy worked 2 hours ate through a couple large piles great tool
This might be a better product in an area were you get less snow. Within a month the auger stopped turning and the bolts were unscrewing themselves from the vibration of the engine. It feels cheap and it is cheap. Tried contacting them directly but they didn't respond to my email and when you try to call the number it says some other company on the machine. Luckily the retailer I bought it from took it back
Can’t get any parts for this saw. Mine scored a piston and can’t get a hold of anyone for parts!
Got my new mower today out of the box in pieces and there is no instructions of how to put it together. There is no manual with it. I am just about ready to put it back in the box and send it back.
Overall a good machine. There is a question of misalignment of the digger chain and the guard. Also, tight should you adjust the digger chain? How much slack should be in the digger chain?
Otherwise, all assembly instructions were very good.
Assembly hint: Tie a small rope to the digger change and fish it around the left side of the drive sprocket. Pull the chain through and slip it over the sprocket. Install master link. It only took 5 min to assemble.
The engine is easy to start with smooth balanced operation.
only issue was looking for the wheel hub nut and cotter pin in the parts package. They were already on the axle
