Easy to operate. It really works well and I can keep it in my shop sense it doesn't take up a lot of room.
Minimal assembly required. Had it working in 15 minutes and it works like advertised. Very safe to operate. I mounted on my hand truck which makes it easy to transport and also raises it up to a perfect operating height. A great product at a great price.
Awesome it’s just what I needed for the amount of wood I use .
Just finished assembling it. Haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet, but from what I observed it is “Bilt Hard”!
Really good.Does the job. Better than fooling with gas. This is second as wore out first one. Problem is no part.
Easy to assemble easy to use did a great job cutting the wood I look forward to using it throughout this season
Only used it once so far. Seems to be sufficient enough to split 12 " rounds. Time will tell.
Purchased a month ago and it worked flawlessly.I’ve split some good sized logs with it and only stalled it
Once. Very impressive
I got my mower sooner than expected which was nice. I got it out of the box and glanced at the assembly instructions. Got it put together in a short amount of time, put oil and gas in it and it started on the first pull. Got out and mowed my whole yard (19000 sq ft) and it ran like a champ. I have 2 complaints. It didn't come with a pull cord eyelet to move the cord further up the handle and it's a little slow. I'm 6 feet tall with long legs and it's a little slow for me. It's nice not having to push the mower but I wish it was faster. Other than that, it's a great mower.
It matters not what brand name is on a motor, Honda, Briggs and Stratton, or Bilt Hard. There all made in China and a name plate is slapped on. You pay for a name plate. I’ve owned them all and now this new brand. What impressed me was the 201cc output. My old Honda mower finally gave up the ghost. It had 160 cc displacement, and 10 years ago cost more than this Hard Built. This eats up everything. What a beast! No problems at all. Put in the oil and started right up after 4 pulls the first time. Now it starts with the first pull. For all the people who claim they dislike leaning down to pull the starter cord from the top of the motor, you didn’t look at its design or read the instructions! Pull up the cord handle and slip the line into the widget on the right side of the push bars, up near the brake. Easy peasy. Now let’s see how it handles the test of time. As long as I can get parts after the warranty I can fix most things.
Very fast delivery. Easy to assemble. Very easy to start. Does an excellent job of breaking up compacted soil, even areas that haven’t been worked in years ( takes extra time and pulling backwards). It’s a little beast!
This is an amazing mower. The assembly was easy and it started on the second pull.
This thing is a work horse it split logs like butter. It’s easy to move around and it stores conveniently in the garage
1st impression was that this is a solid piece of equipment. I put it to work right out of the box and split about a face cord into pretty small pieces in a matter of a few hours. I would not buy this if you're planning to start a firewood business but for home use it is great. I was only splitting pine but I was splitting logs with a diameter that may have exceeded the specs by a tad (17" logs), went through them like butter. I did have a few maple logs and it handled them no problem.
Incredibly strong, no problem going through the extremely hard clay soil, it broke up the first time through, I am very impressed.
Mower arrived well packaged with a small bottle of oil. Good that there is no oil in the motor, because the box was left upside down. Didn't find the assembly instructions (small plastic bag stuck under the mower) until after I assembled it. The two handles that control the drive wheels (rear, which takes a little time to get used to) & motor ( they call it a brake) are kinda awkward to squeeze together. The recoil pull handle is down by the motor, not up on the handle like most mowers, and also awkward to use. Added gas & oil. Pulled cord probably 30 times before it even coughed. Another 10 pulls and it fired up.
I used a piece of wire to hold the start handle tight to the steering handle so that I could pull the cord without stretching my arms and pulling a muscle in my back. It's solid, but lightweight. Cuts pretty good, but even on the highest wheel setting, it's too low for my grass. I use a riding mower for the acre I cut and this for places too small for the bigger mower. For the price it's good.
I’m 62 years old that’s a good machine. I had to raise it up a little bit for my back used to milk crates and a piece of little plywood 2 foot wide 3 foot long.Awesome I love it. Cut up a lot of kindling. I keep it right in my living room when I’m done I sweep and vacuum everything up never know. Never know I’ve been splitting wood in the living room. It’s nice and compact little powerful. I mean powerfulI just pretty much need to make Kenlin and break a big pieceof split Wood I buy my wood already cut and split. Some pieces are too big that machine takes care of that. It’s a great machine. I think it’s awesome. I used it to make kenneling already for the end of September. Made a bunch in no time I had one of those jack splitters.. This is way way way better.don’t hesitate to put it in your car and buy it. You can’t go wrong. I’m 62 years old. I know quality when I see it. Lotta junk out there today. This ain’t one of them.
Put it together - tried it out - and it is going to change our lives this winter to be able to split wood for the small stove we use. THANK YOU
Best deal hands down ! Don’t hesitate to purchase one ! Works great green wood or dry no problem s ! Be sure and order the stand they offer makes it tail gate level on my truck and with the wheels it can be moved around
Great fan....only 20 inches wide and it moves a lot of air. We let it oscillating over the back deck and the breeze can be felt in the two far corners.
Assembly was fast, works well with 2 bags haven’t tried more. Be advised you will have to block it up to dump into a wheelbarrow like it says in the other reviews. Wheels could be better fitting
