The log clamp was exactly what I wanted (ordered 2). Shipping was timely however one of the two boxes broke open on the end and the bag of hardware (clamp guide, end pins, bolts & nuts) for it was missing. Have to re-order the parts locally to use that clamp as I have received no reply to my issue. Boxes need reinforcing with more shipping tape - especially on small ends which may have to support full weight of the tubular contents.
I have been following all the different brand of sawmills for about 10 years. When Bilt Hard offered the 36" for a reasonable price, plus all the extra benefits like engine size with elec. start and rail length. I couldn't resist the purchase. I am totally satisfied at this point and can hardly wait to put it together and get to milling.
What great product. Perfect for doing what I bought it for. Logs I am splitting are between 6”-10” and handles it very well. Only draw back is you have to use both hands to operate. Perfect price point for splitting for fire pit at home
This thing is no joke. It tears through thick limbs fast and keeps feeding without clogging.
Happy with the Purchase
Towed it behind my truck between properties with no trouble. Stable on the road and easy to reposition.
Was a reasonable price to pay for peace of mind. The crate had a frew dungs...but no damage to the product that was shipped.
The pressure is consistent and powerful. Easily handled brick, concrete, and siding.
Impressive Performance
Arrived 2 days late. Transport company kept me up to date. Shipped in plywood crate. Assembly wasn't difficult. 40 ton ram and beam very heavy. Definitely need assistance to mount on wheel base. Engine rear mounting bolts a tight squeeze to place...but I got them in. Fluids filled. 2 pulls and ran great. Well manufactured item. Test split a log, easy peasy. I have a lot of Ash logs to split. It'll be a back saver for sure. Great splitter, great price. Larger engine than most 37 ton splitters!
Not one of those lightweight homeowner chippers. Solid build, starts easy, and handles bigger branches better than expected.
Easy setup, powerful engine, and the hydraulic feed rollers make a huge difference. Feels like commercial-grade equipment.
Finished cleaning my fence and patio in half the time compared to my old washer.
Commercial Feel
I just purchased this product last week. It came today. I put it together and it was so simple. I ran. My cord went to my garden area. Which I want you guys to know I have used many tillers. Even went and rented some. But I thought hey it’s a good price. What could I lose. I am so excited that I purchased this product. I cannot believe the work it’s done. It’s amazing. If people have problems with it.i It’s probably the person working it. Total five stars for this product.
Feels like a professional unit compared to the electric washer I had before. Much stronger pressure.
I was reluctant to purchase this off the internet, but after a week of indecision, I bought it. I have 2.5 hilly acres in rural southern California. I usually take two full weekends and trim the grass and brush with a hand held weed whacker. I hoped this would work on the flatter, wider areas.
Package arrived in 4 days. It came fully assembled; all I had to do was adjust the handle. Came with enough oil to fill the reservoir, and the trimmer string was already installed, although it only came with the two strands. Still, after putting gas in it, the trimmer mower fired up on the 4th pull.
Worked as I hoped. I was able to do 1.5 acres with this. The other part of the yard is too hilly. I was pleasantly surprised. The trimmer mower is well built, runs well, and the self-propelled feature is a game changer for me. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
I do have some criticisms, however. First, the wheels. They are plastic and have mediocre traction on the soft patches of dirt. Second, it is only one speed for walking behind. The pace is just a little quick for me, but I adjusted to it after a few minutes and got the work done.
This is a recent purchase, so I have no idea what the company will be like if I need a warranty claim. Also, I have no idea how this machine will hold up overtime. But, like I said, it appears well built.
As of now, I would recommend it.
Heavy unit that needs put together. Wheel bearings are installed and are behind seal. They must be removed and packed as grease was just wiped on them. Engine was all ready just add fuel. Started on third pull and runs well so far. If your older it is harder to start as engine is larger cubic inch. Have not got to lumber pile yet but should do fine.
Used it to clean my driveway, siding, and patio in one weekend. Plenty of power and starts up easy every time.
Looks like good quality, the automatic measure ruler is nice, comes with everything you need, good price, good customer service, had a few questions, they always got back to me. Very well packaged for shipping, It took me a little bit to figure everything out on how it works, balanced well once I figured out how everything works.
Very happy with the whole process. Ordered the tire machine with the assist arms and balancer. Had it shipped residential, which was less of a hassle than I had figured. They showed up in undamaged crates. Set up wasnt bad. Tore machine was heavy and would recommend 2 people for the build for a couple steps. It IS doable by yourself though. Moving the machine into place is where you may struggle. Quality of the machine is truly top notch. There are several places they could have cheaped out but didn't. Dismounted, cleaned and reinstalled a tire to get rid of a slow leak, and everything worked as expected. Lube tub is in a stupid place, and it will get in the way when breaking a bead on a wider tire. Air fill is on the slower end being that its plumbed into a small air fitting. Apart from that, everything that you'd like to be sturdy is sturdy. Machine is built like a tank. Have not had to use the balancer yet, but I dont expect any surprises. Id recommend at LEAST a 20 gallon air compressor to run the machine at a shop pace. Electric motor for the table is thirsty as well, but I have no issue running it on an extension cord. Some stuff on the tire machine came pre-assembled contrary to bilt hard youtube videos such as assist arm cylinders. It wasnt difficult to figure out which air hoses go where, and they all felt snug and secure. Good experience all the way around, and the quality is actually impressive. No doubt on par with higher dollar american alternatives.
This thing is a beast.
It arrived within days of ordering it. Mine came in a crate and included everything needed except for the gasoline. We assembled in just over an hour, added the included oil and hydraulic fluid and it fired on the first pull, well once I realized it had an on off switch lol.
We’ve used it twice and it chews thru some very large pecan logs that are often knotty and gnarly.
Great experience. Highly recommend this splitter without hesitation.
Everything works as it should. The unit went together very easy with minimal tools required. All grease points are easy to access.
Bought in December and just used for 1st time today 1/25/26. Machine works great but auger seemed to bind in deeper piles, anyone else have this problem? Can I adjust it? All in all pretty good machine. Would recommend
I love this little splitter. It has cracked through some twisted and knotty Red Oak with very little struggle.
The only downsides are the speed and the fact that you need to use both hands at the same time and can’t control the log.
Neither of these are deal breakers for me. Very big value for the money!
You can buy this log splitter for less than six one-day rentals of the same size unit. FedEx delivered three boxes weighing 137, 72 and 135 pounds each. Hydraulic fluid and engine oil are included. Excellent packing, each box had plywood on all sides. Our only assembly issue was that the threads on the hydraulic reservoir were painted. We wire brushed the threads but still had a hard time getting the threads on the low pressure hose to engage. Recommend removing the low pressure hose from the control valve, then attach the other end to the reservoir. Then reconnect to the control valve. This made it much easier to start the threads over the paint.
I manage several properties and needed a washer that could handle back-to-back jobs. This one heats water fast and maintains pressure. The build quality seems good for the price point.
