A couple years ago, I suffered a cervical spine injury which greatly reduced the strength in my life hand (thankfully, I am right handed). Since that time, I have continued to spit firewood manually, but had to rely on my Wife striking the wedge while I held it in place, Even though we were able to accomplish our task, I felt the entire situation was simply an accident waiting to happen. One evening, while watching online music videos, we saw an add for an electric log splitter (although it was for a different brand). We immediately began searching for one that had good reviews and, additionally, fit our budget. As soon as we unboxed our Bilt Hard Splitter, we began splitting a fairly large amount of firewood. It works flawlessly and neither of us wake up with our hands aching. We should have purchased it years ago. Thanks Bilt Hard!
Thank you so much for sharing your story—we’re truly honored that the BILT HARD Log Splitter has made such a positive impact for you and your wife. Safety and ease of use are exactly what we aim for, and we're glad to hear it's helping you both work more comfortably and confidently! 🔥💪
I’m very pleased with the tiller cultivator. I can put it in the back of my car by myself for when my daughter needs to use it.
The attention to detail on this 4-post car lift is impressive. It’s a high-quality, well-built piece of equipment that feels solid and reliable. You can tell it’s made to last.
Easy to assemble and good instructions
Was able to get the hang of it within a couple hrs
The best approach is to go slow and be deliberate when you assemble this cart. I found it very straight forward to accomplish. I did refer to a YouTube video while working on it and it made all the difference.
I think it's pretty good after my first use. The one improvement you can make is to give it at least two speeds. The one it has now is ok but a slower one would be better in some situations.
Otherwise I1m good with it so far.
Works well. Easy to handle. Only complain it that it doesn't have a three prong connection.
Second mower I've bought, first one was through Amazon. Sturdy well made product, have had no issues. My purchase thru Bilt Hard for the second mower, was great, product was delivered on time, and have had no issues. Will be shopping with this company in the future.
that machine is awesome.i have been destroying 20in green maple...16in dry oak..knotty logs..anything i put in the cradle gets split...the instructions were vague.did not know if it came filled with hydro oil.it had half of it in it...
Machine is tough as nail. Blew through my rocky soil like a champ! Better results than expected! 5 STARS
I Am 66, I was able to unpack and build by myself. Not easy, 2 people would be easier. I installed the stock wood shelves and split half a cord. I promptly moved the larger tray to the operators side and added an aftermarket tray on the far side. Love the splitter well balanced and fast. The hydraulic oil that came with it was about a gallon short of filling . Would i buy again? Absolutely. I have ordered a manual tube i will install and place manuals inside so they are always with the machine. If it lasts 30 years like my last one it is an awesome splitter.
It actually took me a minute to realize that the "handle" to be used to move the device was the two metal metal cut-outs in the top chute. Not cut on one side and folded over, just cut ou, t and uncomfortably sharp at that.
Otherwise after some relatively simple assembly (including fetching one nut that got away from me and required removing the blade cover to get to), the machine ran fine. It is a tool not a panacea, and you need to use it properly, but after three separate occasions now of about an hour each, I am happy with its performance.
You should also note that anything you feed in via the top chute (meant for smaller diameter debris) gets shredded /peeled rather than chipped into small pieces. I find myself tossing into it the small branches I break off from the main pieces which I am feeding into the main tube.
I also ended up getting a small covered fire pit to burn the many chunks too large to fit into that main (2.9 inch diameter max) tube). That completed my small backyard (over a dozen full size spruce trees, plus numerous mulberry) cleanup setup.
Final pro tip, don't store the instructions (not that you will need them...much) in the top chute and then forget they are there before starting the machine the second time.
Seems to work well . All the small pieces were out of the bag but they were all still in the box . Other than that started right up .
I use everyday mostly on trucks. No problems.
Easy to put together.
Easy to use.
We used it to pour a 14x16 foot cement pad for our chicken coop.
Just shy of 100, 80lb bags.
We put two bags in at time and it did a great job. Made our job so much easier.
Recent purchase. Appears to be decent quality. I cannot attest to the longevity.
