I purchased the log splitter to reduce the size of purchased previously split firewood for use in my small wood stove. It has worked well for that so far. The built hard website claims that the splitter can be stored standing up in a vertical position. I strongly discourage doing that! The hydraulic control lever projects out past the small flimsy bracket that is supposed to protect it. Therefore, it is very tippy when stood up. It would be very dangerous to store it that way, especially if children are in the area.
Great company to deal with. Effortless communication beginning with placing the order. Shipped in a crate, secure and undamaged. Shipped quickly. Relatively easy to assemble (hardest part was working in single digit temperatures). Machine has no trouble doing its job (Western New York). Starts on first pull (haven't used the electric start). Engine controls are easy to use.

The 5 quick-connect nozzles are super convenient for switching tasks. A bit heavy, but worth every pound for the performance.
