This chipper looks small but it is quite powerful. On our small farm, we cut larger branches for firewood and anything about 2 inches or smaller goes through the chipper. We put branches, sunflower stalks, vines, etc in there and it works through them nicely. If the wood is really green it sometimes struggles so make sure to dry it beforehand, if possible. The consistency of the wood chips is pretty fine. Also, make sure to periodically tighten the nuts/bolts as recommended in the manual, as they will and do rattle loose after some use. That being said, we use our chipper pretty hard to process a lot of material from the farm and it does a great job.

Light can be added at low cost. Sticker suggests safety considerations when using. Works as expected.

This chipper is very easy to assemble and the directions are very clear. The pictures will show you how small the chips are once the branches and wood pieces are put through the chipper. The only thing that I would advise is wearing heavy duty gloves and long sleeves while using to minimize injury. We love having the chipper, however we also are trying to chip all the dead wood and fallen branches across 3 acres so it does take quite a bit of time.

Chipper assembly proceeded easily and without confusion. Assembly diagrams were easy to follow for anyone mechanically inclined. After adding all fluids, the chipper started right up and robustly handled everything I threw at it up to the larger 4-5" diameter branches I had. I typically burn anything larger, so this is a very adequate machine for my purposes. It doesn't shred leaves - they mostly pass through the cutter. So if you want a pile of clean chipped mulch it's best that the branches you feed it are mostly bare. After about 5-6 hours of use so far, I am well pleased with this product.

Do not underestimate the power of this machine! Attempted to stabile a branch as it was being feed into the chute and it smacked my arm off the rim. Sustained an ulnar fracture. See Orthopedics tomorrow. Praying I don’t need surgery.

I fed it a mix of smaller limbs and a few heavier branches. It kept a steady pace and left me with a much smaller pile.

Every thing they advertise

The asy was not to bad. My wife helped. Everything was there. Maybe 3 hrs to ask. I put oil an gas using it. Suggest you come up with a better way to put oil in. A tube coming up the side with a dip stick would be better. Also putting gas in is not friendly. The fill spout is very high. Need to redesign so it is lower. To go lower you would need a fuel pump. Or lower the motor and the mounting. we finally did use it. We had a large pile to chip. Some pcs about 6 inches. It did a very good job and we love it. This fall when it cools down we will be using it alot more. Thank you

The electric start was nice and the chip pile was easier to manage than I expected. I should've done this before the brush got out of hand. Just know that delivery-day setup isn't a quick one-person project. Give yourself some room and get help.

We had branches scattered across a small orchard after pruning. Moving the chipper closer to each area saved a lot of dragging, and I could aim the chute where I wanted the chips.

This machine has some weight to it and feels built for real cleanup work. The chute adjustment is useful, and I like having the stop controls close by. Assembly took us a while, mostly because the parts are heavy, so having a second person helped.

For the price, this thing is amazing. I am giving it 5 stars for ease of start, running performance, price, and relative ease of assembly. At least one bolt was a challenge and I had to get ingenious with that sucker, but made it thru. Great product, thus far.

The chipper worked to my expectations, but the ignition coil separated because of the heat of the muffler after only two months use.

The branches were taking up half my trailer. After chipping them, everything fit into one pile that I could use around the property.

Well packaged. Concise instructions. I appreciated separate labeled bags for fasteners. Easy assembly.

This chipper was very easy to assemble, once you got all the tools needed. I would recommend you limit the different sizes of nuts and bolts.

The chipper came with a bag to catch the chips, which is a nice touch. However, if you use the bag, I would recommend removing the deflector, as it has a tendency to clog the machine.

Speaking of clogs, you clean out access is useless. I had to take the entire back off the machine in order to clear the clog. This meant removing the wheels, which made the machine topple over. The whole process of clearing any clogs was extremely difficut.

Assembly was easy. Starts first pull. Chips branches Great. However I do more leaves. At best 1/3 reduction. You are better off with a mower with a bagger. Will keep till I can afford a good one.

Started right up works great and cuts those trees

Package arrived in good condition. Easy build as all parts were included and fit together well. Once assembled added oil and gas per instructions and started on first pull. Performance was a learning experience. Small items 1/2" or less fed through the top hopper were not shredded as much as I had hoped but were shredded. If fed to fast had a tendency to clog the exit shute. Tip, forget the collection bag and keep the chute area clear of debris. The chipper feed works great and self feed as described. The chipping ratio results in wood chips sufficient for use as bedding material. Handled 3" branches as advertised but do give it time to recover before feeding next branch. Overall happy with the chipper/ shredder and value vs cost.

For the price I feel it is spot on with what one can expect a quality yard chipper to be. It's not cheaply constructed and very durable for the price. As long as you stay within it's operational specs it is a great product.
