We strive to ship orders the same day they are placed and paid for. However, factors such as missed shipping cut-off times, holidays, weekends, or unforeseen delays may result in your order being fulfilled within 1-2 business days. Shipping Outside the Contiguous 48 States: We do not directly ship outside the 48 contiguous United States. However, we can work with your freight forwarder to accommodate your orders. You are responsible for paying all customs duties, taxes, and other additional fees applied upon export. The freight forwarder is responsible for inspecting the packages before accepting and delivering them. Once the packages are accepted by the freight forwarder, Bilt Hard is not responsible for any damage or loss of the packages.
We do not ship our products to P.O. boxes, military APO addresses, states and territories outside the contiguous U.S. (including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands), or countries outside of the United States.
Out-of-Stock/Back-Ordered Products Policy: If your order includes out-of-stock items, we will ship the remaining in-stock items as soon as the order is paid for. Back-ordered items will be sent to you via ground shipping at no additional charge when their stock is replenished. You can request that the order be shipped in one batch when all items are available.
Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel an order that has NOT been shipped, contact our customer service department at inquiry@bilthardusa.com. We will do our best to assist you in a timely fashion. Special order items and items marked as shipped cannot be canceled after the order is processed. Returned items are subject to restocking fees. If an order cannot be canceled, you will be able to return eligible items; shipping charges may apply.

Return Policy:
Our return policy allows you 30 days from the date of item delivery to request a return. Please note that returns are not accepted after this 30-day period.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original, unworn, and unused condition, including all items inside the box and in their original packaging. Customers are required to provide photos and videos of the products and boxes. Additionally, a receipt or proof of purchase is necessary.

Important Note:
- Used items can only be returned if there are quality issues.

Defective or Damaged Products:
If the product is defective or damaged, please provide photos or videos to our customer service within 10 days of receiving the goods. We will cover the return (exchange) shipping costs. Failure to do so within 10 days or a lack of response will make the buyer responsible for any loss.
Return Process:
Upon receiving returned items, we will verify the product's condition within 2-3 business days and initiate a refund within the next 3 business days. We will notify you of the refund status. Approved refunds will be automatically processed through your original payment method. Please note that the bank or credit card company may require additional time to complete the refund.
Limited Warranty:
Bilt Hard comes with a 1-year/2-year/5-year/10-year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty is only applicable to original purchasers and starts on the purchase date. It does not extend if the product is repaired or replaced.
The Warranty does not cover damage due to improper use, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized repair, external causes beyond our control, or force majeure events (e.g., fire, earthquake, lightning, water damage).

Warranty Policy
At Bilt Hard, we are committed to providing high-quality products. To ensure optimal performance, proper care and maintenance are essential. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from the official Bilt Hard website (www.bilthardusa.com). Purchases from third-party platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, or eBay are not covered under this warranty.
- Consumer Use: Personal, residential household use.
- Commercial Use: Any other use, including business operations or income-generating activities. Note: If used for rental purposes, the warranty is limited to 60 days.

Terms & Conditions
- Proof of Purchase Required: The original proof of purchase must be provided to obtain warranty coverage.
- Non-Transferable: The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty also applies to gift recipients but not to subsequent owners.
- Repair or Replacement: Defective parts will be repaired or replaced at Bilt Hard’s discretion. If a part is unavailable, it may be replaced with a similar part of equal function.
- No Full Product Replacements: For certain large items (weighing over 50lbs), the warranty covers defective parts only, and does not extend to full product replacements.
- Repairs Do Not Extend Warranty: Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover the following:

• Corrosion caused by chemicals

🔸Operational & Financial Losses:
• Downtime, inconvenience, or loss of income

• Shipping costs or incidental damages
Engine Warranty
The engine warranty is covered directly by the engine manufacturer under their terms and conditions. Bilt Hard does not cover:
- Routine maintenance (spark plugs, air filters, fuel system cleaning, adjustments, or obstructions due to buildup).
Customer Responsibilities
- Transportation Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs to and from a service center.
- Proper Use & Maintenance: Regular maintenance is required. The warranty does not cover failures due to normal wear or lack of maintenance.
- Alteration of Safety Features: Any modification or removal of safety features will void the warranty.
Order Cancellation
Buyers have a 30-minute window to cancel their order after it’s been placed. If the order has already been shipped or picked up and can no longer be canceled, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to refuse the package upon delivery.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will Bilt Hard be liable for damages exceeding the original purchase price of the product. You assume all risks related to the misuse or inability to use the product.
Additional Information
🔸For orders delivered within the contiguous United States that are later forwarded to U.S. islands or international destinations, the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs.
🔸Bilt Hard is not liable for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery. If tracking shows the package was delivered but not received, please report the issue to the shipping carrier. Our customer service team is also here to help guide you through the next steps.

Handles Branches up to 3 Inches
Feed tree limbs and branches up to 3 inches in diameter through the side chipper chute. The chipper is designed to process one branch at a time and automatically pulls material into the cutting system as it operates.
For best results, allow the machine to process material at its own pace rather than forcing branches into the chute.
Top Hopper for Leaves & Light Yard Debris
The upper shredder hopper is designed for light brush, leaves, soft organic material, and branches up to 1/2 inch in diameter.
Simply feed material gradually into the hopper while keeping hands clear of the opening. When necessary, use another stick to safely guide material into the shredder.
Dual-Blade Chipping System
The internal blade assembly includes two chipper blades, engineered to cut branches as they enter through the side chute. The machine also uses additional L-shaped and rectangular cutting components within the rotor assembly.
The manual's blade assembly identifies two main blades, two L blades, and two rectangular blades.
Easy to Move Around the Yard
Two 12-inch pneumatic tires and an integrated handle make the chipper shredder easier to maneuver around the work area, while the support leg helps stabilize the engine and machine during operation.
Designed for Dry Branches
For proper operation, use dry wood and dry branches that snap completely when bent.
Fresh, wet, or live branches can become difficult to cut and may cause the machine to jam.
Simple Gas-Powered Operation
Before starting the machine, add:
17 oz / 0.5 L engine oil
and fill the fuel tank with:
Fresh regular unleaded gasoline, minimum 87 octane
The maximum fuel tank capacity listed in the manual is 88 oz / 2.6 L. Never attempt to start the engine before adding engine oil.
Important Safety & Usage Notes
Always operate the chipper shredder on a flat, level surface and wear ANSI-approved safety goggles, hearing protection, heavy-duty work gloves, and a dust mask or respirator.
Never place your hands inside the hopper or near the discharge opening. Do not feed metal, stone, glass, or other foreign objects into the machine.
If the machine becomes clogged, turn the engine off, wait until all moving parts have completely stopped, disconnect the spark plug wire, and clear the obstruction before restarting.
I haven’t used the wood chipper yet, but the delivery was fast. The quality of the materials and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. The instructions are clear. Highly recommended

This chipper looks small but it is quite powerful. On our small farm, we cut larger branches for firewood and anything about 2 inches or smaller goes through the chipper. We put branches, sunflower stalks, vines, etc in there and it works through them nicely. If the wood is really green it sometimes struggles so make sure to dry it beforehand, if possible. The consistency of the wood chips is pretty fine. Also, make sure to periodically tighten the nuts/bolts as recommended in the manual, as they will and do rattle loose after some use. That being said, we use our chipper pretty hard to process a lot of material from the farm and it does a great job.
Light can be added at low cost. Sticker suggests safety considerations when using. Works as expected.
This chipper is very easy to assemble and the directions are very clear. The pictures will show you how small the chips are once the branches and wood pieces are put through the chipper. The only thing that I would advise is wearing heavy duty gloves and long sleeves while using to minimize injury. We love having the chipper, however we also are trying to chip all the dead wood and fallen branches across 3 acres so it does take quite a bit of time.

Do not underestimate the power of this machine! Attempted to stabile a branch as it was being feed into the chute and it smacked my arm off the rim. Sustained an ulnar fracture. See Orthopedics tomorrow. Praying I don’t need surgery.
I fed it a mix of smaller limbs and a few heavier branches. It kept a steady pace and left me with a much smaller pile.

Every thing they advertise
The asy was not to bad. My wife helped. Everything was there. Maybe 3 hrs to ask. I put oil an gas using it. Suggest you come up with a better way to put oil in. A tube coming up the side with a dip stick would be better. Also putting gas in is not friendly. The fill spout is very high. Need to redesign so it is lower. To go lower you would need a fuel pump. Or lower the motor and the mounting. we finally did use it. We had a large pile to chip. Some pcs about 6 inches. It did a very good job and we love it. This fall when it cools down we will be using it alot more. Thank you
The electric start was nice and the chip pile was easier to manage than I expected. I should've done this before the brush got out of hand. Just know that delivery-day setup isn't a quick one-person project. Give yourself some room and get help.
We had branches scattered across a small orchard after pruning. Moving the chipper closer to each area saved a lot of dragging, and I could aim the chute where I wanted the chips.
This machine has some weight to it and feels built for real cleanup work. The chute adjustment is useful, and I like having the stop controls close by. Assembly took us a while, mostly because the parts are heavy, so having a second person helped.
For the price, this thing is amazing. I am giving it 5 stars for ease of start, running performance, price, and relative ease of assembly. At least one bolt was a challenge and I had to get ingenious with that sucker, but made it thru. Great product, thus far.
The chipper worked to my expectations, but the ignition coil separated because of the heat of the muffler after only two months use.
The branches were taking up half my trailer. After chipping them, everything fit into one pile that I could use around the property.

This chipper was very easy to assemble, once you got all the tools needed. I would recommend you limit the different sizes of nuts and bolts.
The chipper came with a bag to catch the chips, which is a nice touch. However, if you use the bag, I would recommend removing the deflector, as it has a tendency to clog the machine.
Speaking of clogs, you clean out access is useless. I had to take the entire back off the machine in order to clear the clog. This meant removing the wheels, which made the machine topple over. The whole process of clearing any clogs was extremely difficut.
Assembly was easy. Starts first pull. Chips branches Great. However I do more leaves. At best 1/3 reduction. You are better off with a mower with a bagger. Will keep till I can afford a good one.
Started right up works great and cuts those trees
Package arrived in good condition. Easy build as all parts were included and fit together well. Once assembled added oil and gas per instructions and started on first pull. Performance was a learning experience. Small items 1/2" or less fed through the top hopper were not shredded as much as I had hoped but were shredded. If fed to fast had a tendency to clog the exit shute. Tip, forget the collection bag and keep the chute area clear of debris. The chipper feed works great and self feed as described. The chipping ratio results in wood chips sufficient for use as bedding material. Handled 3" branches as advertised but do give it time to recover before feeding next branch. Overall happy with the chipper/ shredder and value vs cost.
For the price I feel it is spot on with what one can expect a quality yard chipper to be. It's not cheaply constructed and very durable for the price. As long as you stay within it's operational specs it is a great product.
