The device works well for dethatching and getting moss out of lawn. Plenty of power. Collection bag fills up quickly, so I just rake the mounds of thatch and moss into a container.

My front yard has been struggling the past couple years. Full sun a new homeowner can do that to you. This spring I’m working to restore the yard to its former glory and the dethatcher and scarifier have done just that! This product does exactly as advertised, is sturdy and well built, and cost effective! Yes, the bag attachment is too small, but even a larger bag would have been too small for how much track I picked up.

We didn’t try the bag but as others have said it’s really small. Our lawn hadn’t been de-thatched in years. It worked like a charm and we raked and removed the thatch. I think that was faster. Couldn’t beat the price. It was the cost of a one time rental for something larger and well we still have it for next year. It was plenty powerful for our Florida lawn.
